Vinyasa Yoga ‘Water Element - Flowing Water’ & Yoga Nidra with Claudia Eva Reinig
Water is an important element in our yoga practice. In Vinyasa Yoga, it is the flowing transitions from one asana to the next that connect us to the water element. All soft, flowing movements and everything that moves us alive strengthen this element. So that we stay in touch with the senses, with our sensations, it is advisable to carry out the movements slowly, flowingly and connecting.
To round off the yoga practice and to give you the opportunity to transform the built-up energy into deeper levels, we will practice Yoga Nidra, the deep relaxation for body and mind, at the end of the session. Breathing exercises and presence in silence frame your inner journey of adventure.
The flowing movement of the water gives us the hint: Let your life energy flow! In the Yoga Flow sequence we move more in circular, figure 8 and spiral moves. This brings you vitality in the pelvic area and in the joints. The spine is stimulated in a lively rhythm of movement. A “water yogi" or a "water yogini" is flexible and adaptable with connection to the relationship and emotional level. Water is assigned to the lunar aspects, one speaks of the feminine qualities. It is precisely these aspects that support the transformation on all levels. Water encourages you to honor your emotional body, tap into your intuition and follow deep passion.

Focus of the workshop
The focus of the yoga practice in this workshop is on the element of water. Water expresses itself in movement, suppleness and adaptability. It is a mirror of ourselves and, when it flows, gives you access to your imagination and creativity.
As an "opener" and introduction, we start with a mudra that helps you to concentrate and internalize. Then we go into a light Vinyasa Yoga Flow, which becomes increasingly intense to warm up the muscles and the entire tissue. We place special quality on the flowing transitions, as well as hip-opening yoga positions that connect us with the water element. With flowing Vinyasa Yoga you will experience your strengthening power and lightness. We use the wonderful physical and sensual experience of Vinyasa Yoga Flow to become more present. The regenerative yoga practice at the beginning and towards the end brings you into stillness and at the same time stimulates reflection.
Experience width and space in flowing yoga as well as deep relaxation and letting go in Yoga Nidra. Tensions and the entire emotional and mental structure can calm down with Yoga Nidra, and a "permeation" can be experienced.
Claudia has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 30 years. She is a yoga pioneer for many years and a source of inspiration in yoga and yoga nidra. For her it is essential to go the way inside to be able to experience life in depth, but also to realize creative projects outside.
Claudia lives in Switzerland during the summer and in India during the winter months. The variety and differences in culture and people have an inspiring and fruitful influence in her life and so many travel experiences and experiences with other cultures, religions and spiritual directions flow into her teaching. Months of travel and studies in India led her to various yogis and ashrams, where she was able to learn authentic yoga, which she now combines with contemporary developments.
