General Terms and Conditions (GTC) and General Terms of Sale of AIRYOGA (Switzerland) Ltd.
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all offers and services provided by the AIRYOGA studio, in particular yoga classes, workshops, courses, intensive trainings, immersions, teacher trainings, online offerings, as well as other events and services.
By booking an offer or purchasing a membership, pass, or product, the participant agrees to these GTC.
2. Offers and Conclusion of Contract
The studio’s offers are non-binding and subject to change. A contract between the studio and the participant is concluded upon booking, registration, or purchase of an offer.
The studio reserves the right to refuse bookings without stating reasons.
3. Participation Requirements
The participant confirms that they are physically, medically, and mentally fit to participate in the studio’s offerings.
In the case of existing health conditions, injuries, pregnancy, or psychological limitations, participants are advised to seek medical advice prior to participation.
Any acute health issues must be communicated to the teacher before the start of the class or event.
4. Personal Responsibility and Liability
Participation in all offerings is at the participant’s own responsibility and risk.
The participant acknowledges that yoga and physical exercise may involve risks. AIRYOGA (Switzerland) Ltd. and its representatives (employees and teachers) shall not be liable — to the extent permitted by law — for any damages or injuries arising in connection with participation, unless caused by intentional misconduct or gross negligence on the part of the studio.
The studio accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
5. Physical Assistance (Adjustments)
Yoga instruction may include physical assistance (adjustments). Unless expressly declined by the participant, consent to such assistance is deemed granted.
The participant is obliged to inform the teacher immediately if physical contact is not desired or if physical complaints exist.
6. Prices and Payment Terms
The prices published at the time of booking shall apply.
All payments are due before the start of the service unless otherwise agreed.
The studio reserves the right to change prices at any time. Bookings already paid for shall remain unaffected.
7. Memberships and Passes
Memberships, subscriptions, and passes are personal and non-transferable.
The validity period begins on the date of purchase or on the agreed activation date (e.g. the date of the first class attended). Unused classes or remaining validity periods expire after the validity period ends unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Refunds or extensions are generally excluded except where required by law or expressly agreed in writing.
8. Workshops, Trainings, Immersions, and Teacher Trainings
For workshops, trainings, immersions, and teacher trainings, the conditions communicated at the time of booking and any additional participation terms shall apply.
The studio reserves the right to make organizational changes, particularly regarding teachers, schedules, locations, or program content.
9. Cancellations and Rebookings
Cancellations and rebookings must be made in writing.
For Regular Classes:
- Class reservations can be made from 4 weeks in advance up to 1 hour before the class starts.
- Free cancellations are possible up to 2 hours before the class starts.
- Cancellations must be made through the online booking tool. Cancellations by email are not accepted.
- In the event of late cancellation or no-show, the full class fee will be charged.
For Workshops, Intensive Trainings, or Immersions:
- Registrations for workshops, immersions, and intensive trainings are binding, and course fees remain due even in the case of excused absence.
- For reimbursement of course fees due to illness or accident, cancellation must be submitted in writing by email to zuerich@airyoga.com no later than 1 day before the start of the course. In addition, a medical certificate must be submitted by email to zuerich@airyoga.com no later than 3 days after the end of the event.
- For workshops, intensive trainings, and immersions, 10% of the course fee is non-refundable as a deposit, including in cases of illness or accident.
10. Class Cancellations and Changes
The studio reserves the right to cancel or postpone classes, courses, workshops, intensive trainings, immersions, and other events due to insufficient participant numbers, teacher illness, or other important reasons.
In such cases, payments already made will be credited or refunded. Any further claims are excluded.
11. Conduct in the Studio
Participants undertake to behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, and other participants.
The studio may exclude individuals from participation in the event of inappropriate behavior. In such cases, no refund shall be granted.
12. Data Protection
Personal data will be treated confidentially and processed exclusively in accordance with the applicable data protection regulations .

13. Photo, Video, and Audio Recordings
Photo, video, or audio recordings during events are only permitted with the express consent of the studio and the persons concerned.
The studio or teacher will separately inform participants if recordings are made for marketing purposes during events.
14. Online Offerings
For online classes or digital offerings, the participant is responsible for ensuring suitable technical equipment and a safe practice environment.
The studio accepts no liability for technical disruptions beyond its control.
15. Amendments to the GTC
The studio reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. The currently published version shall apply.
16. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The laws of the Canton of Zurich, Switzerland, shall apply.
Place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
