News

The protective measures prescribed by the government are still in place, and unfortunately, it looks like there will be no major changes in the months ahead.
We have been searching for solutions on how we can best protect our students as well as our employees, in the upcoming winter season, when it will not be feasible to maintain the windows open for longer periods of time:

Already by September 2020 we will be installing new air-filtering devices with special high-performance particle filters in the yoga rooms of both of our studios. These devices filter 99,5% of micro-organisms measuring from 0,003 micro-meters from the air, including the Corona viruses, which have a circumference between 0,08 and 0,12 micro-meters. In this way, the air-cleaning devices can significantly reduce the risk of inhalation or spreading of Corona viruses.

Filtering of the air in the yoga rooms with these special devices is just one additional measure to protect our health. It is still imperative that the current Protective Scheme at the AIRYOGA studios is adhered to, especially the distancing and hygiene guidelines.
Wearing a mask is not obligatory at AIRYOGA at this time. However, each person can decide for themselves if they would like to wear a mask in the entrance and reception areas and changing rooms, where it may not be possible to maintain the distancing guidelines at all times.

We will continue to limit the number of available spaces in our classes in order to guarantee more space for participants as well as a safe environment.

As of Monday, October 5, 2020Stephen Thomas will offer an additional Yoga class Restorative Asana & Pranayama at AIRYOGA. And as of Wednesday, November 11, 2020, a Pranayama & Meditation class in the mornings.

Here you will find the updated AIRYOGA class schedule.

We would like to encourage all of you to resume your yoga practice at AIRYOGA. To secure your space, we recommend that you register online in advance for all classes, including the Ashtanga Mysore classes at the Studio Oberdorfstrasse.

Our ONLINE YOGA offering will remain available.

Thank you for your support. We look forward to your visit to AIRYOGA.

As long as AIRYOGA remains closed, we will become an "Online Studio". → AIRYOGA Online

However, since we believe that it is more important at this time that we all stay at home, we cannot provide you with a professional video production from our studios. Instead, some of our teachers will send their home-made yoga productions via Youtube Livestream from their home directly to your living room. They will all do their best, however, please excuse possible quality defects in picture and sound.

Each online class lasts 60 or 75 minutes, costs CHF 8.- or 10.- and can be paid by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). AIRYOGA passes/series cannot be used for these classes.

Find here how you can register for the AIRYOGA online yoga classes.

We wish you much fun with AIRYOGA online!
