Mirjam Haymann
Mirjam has been teaching yoga for over 15 years and teaches in both German and English. Her teaching brings together a strengthening and opening practice with clarity, presence, and depth. Precise physical alignment plays a central role in her classes. A particular focus of her work is the connection between yoga, mental health, and yoga psychology. For her, yoga is a way to strengthen the body, cultivate inner stability, and relate to herself and others with greater awareness. Her training includes numerous teacher trainings and immersions with Patrick Creelman, as well as trainings in pre and postnatal yoga and feminist coaching. She has also been deeply influenced by the mentoring of Rinat Perlman and Elena Brower. Alongside her work as a yoga teacher, Mirjam supports people through coaching towards greater self confidence, physical, mental, and emotional stability, and a greater sense of joy in life. She also mentors yoga teachers so they can feel more confident in their teaching and enjoy it more fully. Mirjam was born and raised in Zurich, is a mother of three children, and studied law at the University of Lucerne.
