Stefania Maria Machado Moreno
Stefania’s work and life is guided by an intention of healing and liberation and by a deep remembering of the innermost essence of our being: the place within us that is whole, unbroken, and one. Everything she offers arises from this orientation. As a mother and teacher, she weaves together embodied practices, awareness and compassion, both on and off the mat. With clarity and a therapeutically grounded perspective, she accompanies people on an inward path where joy, peace, and genuine connection can emerge. Her path has been shaped by years of dedicated study and practice. Introduced to meditation and pranayama in childhood by her first teacher, Selvarajan Yesudian, she later encountered the disciplined practice of Bikram Yoga during her acting studies, completing her teacher training at the Bikram Yoga College of India. She went on to teach internationally before setteling in Switzerland. Further training as a Medical Yoga Coach in Berlin, Hatha Yoga immersions, Vinyasa teacher trainings as well as pranayama and philosophy studies with Shri O.P. Tiwari deepend her understanding. Over many years Doug Keller has been a central source of inspiration in yoga therapy and philosophy. In search for integration and refinement, Stefania turned to the wisdom teachings of the Buddha and the contemplative practices of Tibetan Buddhism. She completed a three-year training in Essential Psychotherapy / Buddhist Psychology under the direction of Tilmann Lhündrup and Wolfgang Erhardt. Today Stefania offers psychological counseling.
