Rethinking the Female Experience – Workshop with Mirjam Haymann

PMS, motherhood, beauty, and the practice of living well. Few topics shape a woman’s life more deeply, yet few are surrounded by as many expectations, contradictions, and unspoken questions.

In this 4-hour workshop, we will explore the female experience through the lens of yoga philosophy, Ayurveda, and Kabbalistic teachings. Rather than offering quick solutions or idealistic advice, we will rethink some of the most common assumptions about what it means to live as a woman today, discovering practical perspectives that support a more grounded, joyful, and authentic way of living.

What if PMS is not simply something to endure, but valuable information revealing where your boundaries have been crossed, where your needs have been ignored, and where change may be calling? What if motherhood could be approached with practical spiritual wisdom rather than impossible ideals? What if beauty is less about appearance and more about learning to appreciate and fully inhabit your own unique body?
And what if true emancipation is not becoming more like men, but becoming more fully ourselves?

Throughout the workshop, we will also explore how these ideas can reshape our yoga practice. Rather than focusing on sequences or techniques, we will ask how a deeper understanding of ourselves should influence the way we move, breathe, practise, and ultimately live.

Expect thought provoking discussions, timeless yogic teachings, Ayurvedic wisdom, Kabbalistic insights, self inquiry, and practical tools that will leave you with a richer understanding of yourself and the many seasons of your life.
